What We Do
The Nicaragua Covenant, born from a promise between churches in Nicaragua and New England over 30 years ago, continues to support programs of compassion, justice, and mercy with the overarching goal to enhances the lives of our sisters and brothers in Nicaragua. We are dedicated to supporting a variety of programs to help the people of the Nicaragua. Funding is used to support and maintain existing programs, grow them, and to help create new programs. These are programs we currently support. Take a look and connect with any feedback, questions, or to provide financial support.
EducationNicaragua Covenant provides direct financial support to three Christian Schools in Managua. In addition, the Covenant also supports feeding programs and community gardens.

Women's EmpowermentNicaragua Covenant supports sewing programs in two communities, teaching women and men how to sew, allowing them to enter the fair-trade market or create and sell their own goods.

College ScholarshipsThe Nicaragua Covenant provides college scholarships for a number of bright and aspiring students. Recipients of scholarships have found careers in Medicine, engineering, and management.

Emergent needsWorking through Nicaraguan partners, the Nica Covenant has provided emergency assistance for crisis such as crop failures, and food shortages during the recent civil unrest.

Mission Experiences
For over 20 years, mission delegations and volunteer groups traveled to Nicaragua,
